Brittany Kerfoot received a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University. Currently, she works a multitude of jobs: Annual Fund & Events Manager for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, DC; writing and literature instructor for Politics and Prose Bookstore; and co-host of Generation Women DC, a storytelling series for women and non-binary people.
Her nonfiction work has been featured in Brit + Co, Thrillist, Headspace, The Establishment, and The Fix, among others. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in various online and print literary journals. She is at work on her first novel.
Brittany lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their five rescue pets. She has a passion for social justice, animal rights, books, home design, and Diet Coke. When she's not writing, you can find her in the middle of a reality TV binge, planning her next overseas adventure, or on a long walk with her dogs around the city.
